Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company

On January 2nd at 2219 hours Bridgeville Fire Dept. was dispatched for another accident on Seashore Hwy, this time just west of Cannon Rd. Rescue 72-6 responded under the direction of Chief Cannon (15) with a crew of 8. Sussex EOC advised the responding units that DSP was on scene reporting one subject injured. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle accident with 1 patient and no entrapment. While the EMS crew handled patient care and transport the crew from Rescue 72-6 and Engine 72-9 handled clearing the roadway of debris and fluids. 1 Patient transported to local hospital by B72. Fire crews held the scene until the roadway was cleared. Responding units : Rescue 72-6, Engine 72-9, Ambulance B-72, and DSP.
