Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company

On May 11, 2012 at 1100 hrs, the BVFC and the Bridgeville Police Department held a Mock Rescue at Woodbridge Senior High School. This mock drill was to help educate the students on the effects of drunk driving. In this demonstration, the students played the role of the victims and suspects of the accident. With this being a drill, the Bridgeville Fire Company and Bridgeville Police Department demonstrated the actions that would have been taken if it had been a real situation. The BVFC responded by extricating the victims out of the car and transporting them to the ambulance for simulated first aid. The police department simulated arresting a victim for drunk driving.
