Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company

On June 21, 2012 at 2001 hrs, the Bridgeville Vol. Fire Company was dispatched to a field fire on Chaplains Chapel Road. Units went responding at 2005 hrs. Upon arriving on scene at 2014 hrs, the crew members of 72-0, 72-00 and 72-4 saw flames spreading quickly in the area of several residences and nearby woods. With assistance from neighboring fire companies, the fire was contained and extinguished. The situation went under control at 2042 hrs. All units went available at 2120 hrs. Units on scene: 72-8, 72-0, 72-00, 72-4, 72-9, 72-13, and Tanker 72 78-00, 78-2, 78-3, Tanker 78 and A-78 77-0, 77-2, and 77-1 Forestry Unit 12
