Mock Rescue - Woodbridge Sr High
Monday, March 15, 2021
On May 5, 2011 at 1100 hrs. the BVFC and the Bridgeville Police Department held a Mock Rescue at Woodbridge Sr. High School. It was to help educate the students the effects of drunk driving. In this demonstration the JROTC students played the role of the victims and suspect of the accident.
With this being a drill, the Bridgeville Fire Company and Bridgeville Police Department; as-well-as the local Funeral home helped demonstrate the actions that would have been taken if had been a real situation. With this they responded by cutting/ removing the victims out of the car, then transporting them to the ambulance, police arresting a victim for drunk driving, and then removing the body from the scene.
Thank you to all that took part in the Mock Rescue.
