Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company

On January 15, 2011 the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company showed its appreciation to its members, its auxillary, neighboring fire companies and all the members of government and the community that help support this organization. The evening was especially signifigant because 2011 celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Bridgeville Auxillary, an organization of men and women who work to support the Bridgeville Fire Company thru fundraising efforts. The Auxillary was presented with a plaque and gift from the Fire Company as well as recieving State Senate and House of Representatives Tributes delivered personally By Senator Joe Booth and Representative Dave Wilson. Special Member Awards were presented to: Jack Hastings - 50 Years Service Jack Cannon - 40 Years Service Donnie Fleetwood - 40 Years Service Bob Moyer - 2010 Firefighter of the Year Bo Thomas - 2010 EMT of the Year Taylor Walls - 2010 Jr. Firefighter of the Year Thank You to all who helped enjoy the evening.
