Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company

On May 28, 2010 the BVFC was dispatched to assist the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company Station 78 with a working structure fire at 13314 Owens Road. The first crews arrived to find a large dwelling that was currently abandoned on fire. Crews from Greenwood, Bridgeville, Farmington, Ellendale, Harrington, Seaford, and Denton were involved in fire supression activities and stood by at neighboring stations. The situation was declared under control at 01:43 hours. Three firefighters were transported to neighboring hospitals for injuries.
